The Chamber Made
This is the official newsletter of the Chamber and is published on a quarterly basis. Members have the opportunity to promote their business through either advertisements or editorial.
Business Networking Functions
Maitland Business Chamber holds monthly Members' networking functions, as well as special events. The monthly Members' Networking Function is on the third Thursday of each month, usually over breakfast. This changes occasionally and members are informed well in advance.
The networking functions feature a guest speaker, and are also used for informing members of General Business.
The guest speakers are people who have an important role to play in business in our region. Recent speakers have included the Federal Member and Minister for Defence Joel Fitzgibbon, MP; State Minister for the Hunter Michael Costa, MP; and in the wake of the June 2007 Floods, Mr Bruce Varley Local Controller SES.
Business Seminars
The ability to attend a variety of seminars held locally, which cover topics such as taxation, employer issues and workplace—related matters.

The Chamber website hosts a variety of critical business hyperlinks, details of upcoming events, updates of latest relevant business news, stories and information on local business trends and much more.
Business Mentoring Program
The Chamber provides a point of contact for members who may seek direction for their business. Also commencing in 2008, we are introducing a Business to Business Mentoring Program where members have the opportunity to work together and mentor each other.

The Chamber provides a united voice when members need to express concerns in relation to issues that affect the operation of business and to unite and sustain the viability of all local business.
